An item named in the official hotfix notes. What kind of item it is isn't documented yet; the notes changed its modifier line together with the Armor Plates'.

  • It earns a hull bonus. Since Beta Patch 3, Hotfix 3.1 it keeps the bonus it has earned when your ship is lost, and its tooltip shows the current bonus.
  • Beta Patch 2, Hotfix 12 lists it with the safety hold and the safe cipher as things that still protect items when a ship is destroyed.
  • Beta Patch 2, Hotfix 6 changed its modifier line from +6% max heat to +8% repair amount.
